However, this exclusive offering presents a distinctly different character from them. The aroma presents dark fruit and wine notes, accompanied by nutmeg and cinnamon. It's quite satisfying without being overly intricate. In the background, a trace of that characteristic Sons Of Liberty youthfulness remains, but it's minor and overshadowed by the sherry influence. The palate delivers a delightful sensation. The whiskey possesses a viscous texture, with great legs and a consequently full mouthfeel, featuring hints of cherry and plum. It's a sweet spirit, making for a very pleasant sipping experience. The finish persists for a good duration and is quite agreeable. I detect more cherry, a subtle lingering sherry essence, and, curiously, a note reminiscent of Welch's Grape Juice, though I clarify this as a positive and enjoyable complementary flavor. This represents a new pinnacle for Sons Of Liberty.
