About this bottle
For the third year running, Grand Teton Distillery in Idaho has issued a Private Stock collection, with this 2023 release marking only the second American single malt from the brand. The spirit is crafted from 100% Idaho malted barley, representing a grain-to-glass product as all steps, from milling to bottling, are completed at the distillery. It matured for seven years in 53-gallon used bourbon barrels and was diluted to proof with water from the mountains. This release became available in July 2023, with 22 barrels offered first through the brand's website, followed by distribution to the distillery's tasting room and retailers in the western United States in subsequent weeks. The suggested retail price is $79.95.
