To honor the 100th anniversary of the House of Marnier Lapostolle, Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire was first offered in 1927. It is a combination of cognac and bitter orange distillate, much like the standard Grand Marnier. Nevertheless, this expression utilizes only XO cognacs from Grande and Petite Champagne crus.

The initial, clear richness of orange is exceptional. The cognac is delicately layered in as the flavor develops. A beautiful, robust candied orange finish lingers for the ideal duration. The level of sweetness is perfectly balanced and more prominent than the red and blue ribbon versions.
Everyone else is wrong. This is extremely floral. And just as sweet as a basic red wine. Any subtlety is destroyed. Louis Alexandre is a much better dram. 1880 offers better cognac. This is a mediocre option.
Rich notes of orange peel, vanilla, oak, leather, and caramel.
A richer, more profound, and more robust GM. A good value for the cost.
After a strong blast of alcohol, some orange comes through.
