About this bottle

The historic Gourry de Chadeville house in Grande Champagne, the heart of Cognac, is currently led by Pierre Goursat Gourry. The estate has occupied the same building since 1619 and cultivates a modest 7 hectares (approximately 17 acres). This specific bottling consists entirely of Ugni Blanc grapes. After distillation, half of the spirit was aged in traditional cognac casks, and the other half in a used Sauternes cask. After five years, the spirits from the two cask types were swapped and aged for an additional five years before being blended and bottled without filtration. Production was limited to 520 bottles.
