About this bottle
Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1997 is the seventh bottling in The Bond House No. 1 Collection, a limited edition series named after the distillery's largest 19th-century bonded warehouses. Following approximately 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, a portion was moved to Château Montrose red wine casks from Bordeaux's Saint-Estèphe appellation. It then underwent further maturation in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a total of 23 years aging within Bond House No. 1. This whisky, bottled at 43% ABV, became available in June 2021.
