About this bottle
Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1991 represents the fourth expression from the Bond House No.1 Collection, a series initiated with the 1990 vintage in 2016. This 1991 bottling consists of two batches of single malts matured in American oak. One portion underwent a final maturation period in casks that previously held Burgundy wine, while the second portion was finished in ex-oloroso sherry casks. A portion of whisky aged in newly toasted oak was also incorporated. The spirit is bottled at 43% alcohol by volume.

Firstly, what the heck... it's almost too pure.. 😂 Aroma: oak, oak and sugar, vanilla, caramel, and grass. Taste: rich oak and cream, incredibly smooth, almost too smooth it's insane... Finish: smooth, creamy, and peppery. Warming. Vanilla and oak… fresh grass. Cocoa.
Aroma: green apple, pear Taste: first honey, then raisin/fig, the finish is a bit bitter with a hint of tobacco.
Tasted this alongside someone from Moet Hennessy.
