Vito Schaeffer 4.8

Aroma reminiscent of a Scottish glen after rain, opening with a burst of citrus fruits, particularly orange peel, figs, vanilla, cream ice cream, and syrupy peaches. Palate: Orange and pomegranate, vanilla, a sharp pungency giving a sparkling sensation, lemon zest, chinotto, yogurt plumcake, and honey. Finish: Concentrates on the sides of the tongue, initially warm and smooth, but then slightly tannic and a bit astringent. A remarkable whisky from a distillery that unfortunately no longer exists.
