Aroma: fruity, orchard fruits, tropical, hints of mango and pineapple, toffee, light spices, fragrant and bright with a sticky sweetness. Taste: ripe fruits, tropical notes are prominent, toffee, vanilla, a hint of coconut on the finish, balanced with a medium-length finish that is lightly oily, giving it a gentle smoothness. A well-crafted expression that captures that tropical touch and is superior to some others I have tried.

About this bottle
The Glenlivet introduces the Jamaica Edition, the inaugural bottling in its new Beyond Speyside series, which highlights whiskies inspired by global locations through unique cask finishes. Drawing inspiration from Jamaica's Treasure Beach, this single malt incorporates a portion of casks that were previously used for Jamaican rum. It will be available from October 2025, priced at $54.99.

Very subtle peaty smoke, with an almost chocolate-like taste at the start.
