A delightful fruit-forward entry, with abundant cherry, vanilla, and mild char. It has a medium body and a full mouthfeel. It's warming and encourages introspection. An ideal bourbon for a calm autumn evening. The finish extends significantly, with continued dark cherry notes right to the very end. Quite accessible at only 100.58% proof, this is easily a pleasant sipper that benefits from just a touch of water to open up.

About this bottle
Barrell Craft Spirits' 2022 Gray Label Bourbon marks the fifth release in this line, featuring a combination of straight bourbons distilled and matured in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Five distinct mash bills and various ages were employed. After blending, the bourbons were returned to casks made with 36-month air-dried staves, which had previously held Gray Label Bourbon, for further aging. This release is bottled at 100.58 proof cask strength and became available in September 2022. (SRP $249.99)
