About this bottle
A limited release single malt that matured for 29 years in a single refill sherry cask. Its maturation was concluded in an American oak ex-bourbon barrel covered with messages of encouragement for the team. This particular bottling was developed by the brand to support #TeamGlenfiddich, which competed in the South Pole Allied Challenge, a 335km expedition to the South Pole. Walking With The Wounded aids injured service members in overcoming physical and mental hardships, assisting them in their return to civilian life and securing long-term employment post-military careers. Alongside supporting #TeamGlenfiddich, the entirety of the profits from "Spirit of a Nation" sales are contributed to Walking With The Wounded. Production was capped at 250 bottles.
