Glenfarclas The Family Casks 1999

This distillery generally isn't my cup of tea. I've sampled several, even a 25-year-old bottling, and I always find their cask influence too subtle. This particular expression is no different. It's decent, but unremarkable, with a bitter endnote. A small amount of water improved it slightly, but it remains a 3.

Not quite a Natura. Incredible smoothness. No peat present. A slight tingle is noticeable.
