This was the introductory dram before the rare and aged bottling session at Dramfest. Two things nearly made me gag: when I was uploading this review and when I tasted it. First, the tasting. I'm not a fan of Glenfarclas; I find their expressions too light, as if they've overused their casks. Well, let me tell you, this is not how they used to make it. It's the best Glenfarclas I've ever had by a wide margin. Rich sherry and perfect balance, and that was after tasting a Cask Strength Benromach. The two things that caused me to choke while posting? The price is close to $800 USD, and it contains artificial coloring...
