On any other occasion, it would easily be a 4.5, but following the Glengoyne 25, which I've really grown to appreciate (wow, the richness and spice!), this is a great dram. However, it leans more towards oily toffee flavors, and did I mention I miss that spice? A rating of 4.25 probably doesn't do it justice, so I'll give it a 4.25 to 4.5, but perhaps that Glengoyne 25 deserved a higher score... hmm.
