Outstanding. Had the opportunity to sample this during a live tasting, and it's exceptional. At this price, it's expected. The sherry finish's sweetness is balanced by extended barrel aging. It presents as more molasses than bright sugar, with notes of raisins and cherries. The aroma has a hint of leather, but it doesn't negatively impact the palate. The finish is the most remarkable aspect, lasting for minutes with lingering cherry and a subtle hint of nutmeg. After the tasting, I decided to sell several bourbon bottles to acquire this remarkable cask.

The nose presents caramel, sherry, and raisins. Sweet caramel is upfront, followed by oak and a touch of spice on the finish.
