The distillery's highly anticipated hand-fill bottling. The color is intensely dark, almost black, and the aroma is powerful (it lingered on my hands for 2 hours after pouring!). Perhaps it's the high proof or the color, but the aroma seems particularly strong. The taste is more complex than a typical sherry type, with sweetness from dark fruits and chocolate still present. It's like a spicy version of the 15-year-old AlacK, sharing its strengths but amplified by the higher proof. The long-lasting finish is particularly satisfying.
