Color: I typically don't comment on color, but this whisky's very light hue is noteworthy, suggesting minimal wood contact or heavily reused casks. Nose: Very light and simple, almost unappealing. I detect light peat, lemon zest, and vanilla, with little else. Taste: Also light here. Light peat, followed by significant sweetness. I get notes of cookie dough, ripe banana, dried apricots, and caramel. It's somewhat oily. Finish: Disappears quickly. Dark chocolate and peat on the finish. I would recommend this for a summer evening when you're not seeking complex, engaging whiskies. It's also suitable for those new to peated spirits. For the price, it's an acceptable whisky, but it's too simple for long-term enjoyment. The taste becomes more agreeable after a few sips, but it won't be outstanding.

Searching for a less expensive alternative to Laphroaig. This one tastes too cheap. It's quite empty and not genuinely smoky, it just exists. A slight touch of pear. Doesn't feel full in the mouth. Better with a small splash of water.

The aroma is primarily peat with a hint of vanilla. The taste includes tobacco, honey, vanilla, and peat. The peat is well-balanced here, not overwhelming. The finish is brief, dry, spicy, and smooth.

Seems unbalanced. I really liked some of the NAS Glen Morays, but the peated version doesn't seem to be their strong suit:( [JG2018]

Mild peat with some fruitiness. A subtle hint of typical iodine.

피트 향은 옅지만 맛은 생각보다 피트하다. 하지만 특징있는 피트 맛으로 보긴 어렵다.
