Loyd Antonio 3.0

Aroma: Surprisingly light orange, apple, and cereal with fragrant floral notes. Water has no effect. Palate: A sweet, crisp arrival with toasted marshmallow and digestive biscuits. Spicy, sharp notes of ginger and cinnamon appear quickly. The texture is good but not heavy. Water makes it creamier and softens the palate. Finish: Medium to short, with brisk, sharp, spiced vanilla and cereal. This is a limited edition 15-year-old, exclusively matured in refill sherry casks and released as a distillery exclusive of 1,000 bottles to celebrate the opening of Edinburgh Rugby’s DAM Health Stadium. It's agreeable neat; water softens the palate but isn't necessary. A competent single malt; while not objectively outstanding, it warrants 3 stars subjectively. Rated 'Above Average': 80/100 (3 stars).
