Ghost Coast Distillery Master Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Aroma: Oak, subtle brown sugar, and delicate caramel and vanilla. Taste: Wheat and Barley dominant, with some earthy oat notes. Rye oak and earthy spice are upfront but not overly dry. Caramel and walnut fade quickly, leaving a walnut skin bitterness. Finish: Brief, with a light lingering taste of barley and oats on the tongue.

This is possibly one of the worst bourbons I've ever tasted. The only flavor I detected was 'leather,' and it was awful. I had to make an extremely sweet Old Fashioned to make it drinkable.

This whiskey doesn't stand out. I received it as a gift and will drink it on the rocks. It's an average whiskey but offers a cool, local characteristic for a single visit to Savannah.

This is a smooth variety, featuring floral notes and a saltwater essence.
