A store selection that stands out as one of the best experiences for its price. The aroma is rich brown sugar, the palate is smooth and oily with hints of citrus or light anise. The finish is a bit spicier than I prefer, with a warmth consistent with its 110 proof.

About this bottle
MGP offers this bourbon through its Single Barrel Program for retailers, who can choose from two high-rye mash bills. Aged for over four years, the bourbon is bottled at cask strength, which differs by barrel. Shipments are planned for September 2021, aligning with National Bourbon Month, after retailers select their barrels. Retailers can also opt for a 2021 Single Barrel Selection label to emphasize the whiskey's collectible status. The annual single barrel program will continue.
