Founded in New Orleans in 2016, Seven Three Distilling Co. honors the city's seventy-three distinct neighborhoods. Their Gentilly Gin, named after a collection of New Orleans areas, builds upon their standard gin's profile, which includes elderflower and persimmon among other unlisted botanicals. The Barrel Reserve version undergoes barrel resting prior to being bottled at 87 proof.

A little unusual but intriguing. I didn't care for it neat, but it's a refreshing summer alternative in whiskey-style mixed drinks. Consider it in an Old Fashioned or a Sour; it worked very well in both.
