About this bottle
This 2024 edition of Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon commemorates the brand's tenth anniversary release. Master Distiller Donnis Todd selected his most valued and scarce barrels, aged for a minimum of 8 years, for this particular bottling. In honor of the milestone, 10,000 bottles were produced; the initial 1,000 are reserved for dedicated patrons attending a special distillery event on September 21, 2024. The remaining 9,000 bottles are expected to be distributed nationwide by the first week of October 2024. It is bottled unfiltered and uncut at 140.2 proof, with a suggested retail price of $279.99.

Glencairn glass, allowed to breathe for 15 minutes. Quite fiery on the palate but a remarkably smooth finish. Caramel and oak are prominent. Lingering fruit notes. The char is noticeable, in a very good way.
Enjoyable and flavorful, I'd say it's marginally better than last year's offering.
licorice, aged leather, and dark gasoline
