Despite negative prior commentary, I found this to be an excellent whisky. The aroma is packed with tartness and significant port cask influence, making it the best smelling whisky I've encountered. This port character carries through to the taste, complemented by citrus notes. The finish is pleasing, offering a touch of sweetness, malt, and oak. Although aged for seven years, it presents with a youthful alcohol presence but possesses a full flavor profile comparable to a twelve-year-old. I'm very enthusiastic about this one!
