A sharp, wheat Vodka from Boomsma Distilleerderij in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, made with a hint of rye, barley & local water, then charcoal filtered & bottled at 40%ABV. It has a gentle start; while a sharp life led to a fast & clean finish with a trace of toast. The spirit is truly neutral! July/August 2024 / February 2025
Initially, the aroma is like good vodka, with a light, sweet alcohol profile I've observed in quality spirits. The taste is neutral, light, and warming. I could see this being a great option for a vodka soda or other mixed drinks where the vodka's flavor is intended to shine.
A clean, mellow wheat vodka.
