An exceptionally complex rye. The port cask beautifully enhances the rye's spice. Among the wine cask-finished bourbons and ryes I've sampled, this is the most successful. It's delicious neat or in a Sazerac.
A beautiful rye aroma, likely with the Pinot notes underneath. The balance and flavors are exquisite. Deep, wine-like notes of rye spice and tannins harmonize exceptionally well. This is the finest rye I have ever tasted.
