Skyla Mortensen 3.8

Initially, it presented as characteristic MGP spice, with notes of toffee, dried fruit, a touch of cocoa powder, and oak on the finish. After resting for a couple of months, it evolved into a sweeter, candy-like expression of itself, boasting a creamy texture that transitions into a pleasant, warm tingling sensation on the tongue, concluding with a lengthy, warm aftertaste that primarily lingers in the mouth and jaw, with a portion extending into a mild, comforting warmth.

Barry Gross 4.5

The deep aroma is hard to pinpoint. Deep wood flavor, rich and expansive. The intensity of the cask strength is balanced, not overwhelming. It allows the flavors to be fully appreciated. Exceptionally well-executed. Impressive.

Penelope Denny 3.0

3yr 58.25% Nose of syrup, glazed citrus peel, and herbal rye. Immediate warmth. Youthfulness is evident. Palate is filled with syrup sweetness, oak, and rye grains. Finish is mildly dry oak, medium duration.
