Kimberley Ferris 4.0

The aroma begins with a fantastic combination of charred oak and subtle rye spice. It possesses a creamy smoothness but remains straightforward and dominated by oak and spice. The palate is somewhat dry, yet substantial, and initially hits the sides of the mouth with a surge of rye spice. This precedes a wave that envelops the mouth with a tingling spice as dry, charred oak emerges with each chew. The finish is medium-long with a strong, persistent spice while the oak fades into the background. The longer you savor it, the faintest hint of fruit appears very subtly, but overall, it's quite uncomplicated. A direct blast of spice and oak. It doesn't demand much contemplation, but that's because of its excellent execution. Delicious.
