The aroma is like the best cherry pie ever, but deeper - it ranges from dark fruit to dessert sweetness with the whole spice rack sprinkled throughout, all set on a heavy oak plank. The palate isn't quite as deep as the aroma but is still complex, bringing in many of the same dark fruity and sweet notes with solid oak, but less spice and more of a rye bread character. The finish is elegant and warmly rustic as it fades.
