I'm almost finished with this bottle, so I believe I've gathered sufficient information to post a review. Like any bottle, it had its high points and low points, but the more I sampled it, the more I appreciated it. The aroma presents orange dreamsicle, a scent I haven't encountered in any other bourbon. The palate offers traditional yet light bourbon notes, such as honey and caramel. It's very sweet and refreshing, more suited for a summer drink. The finish is rich with cinnamon and chocolate coffee cake flavors. The drawback of delaying the review of a special release is that by the time you recognize its quality, it's no longer available.
