Foundry Distilling Midnight Ritual

I was eager to try this collaboration with Boulevard wheat beer. While not as amazing as I'd hoped, it was still intriguing. It definitely leans heavily into banana flavors. Serving it on ice with some melt was my preferred way to enjoy it. I'd still be interested in sampling other Foundry products, as I appreciate their beer-inspired mash bills.

Banana, banana, banana. And yes, more banana. An incredibly easy sipper. I enjoy it, though it might not appeal to everyone. Certainly a dessert dram. It might not justify its $60 price tag. A very distinct single malt character.

Banana, apple, baking spices all really stand out from the unfiltered wheat beer base. It really reminds me of very traditional spice/herb/root schnapps from Germany in aroma and mouthfeel. Really delicious.

A friend 'blind poured' this for me, and I identified it immediately. No other spirit I've had tastes and smells like bananas (which isn't a positive for me).

Tastes like expensive toilet cleaner. Sour, banana, and strange malty notes. Stick to your inferior beer Boulevard
