This is a rich fruit liqueur from Cognac, France, made with bitter orange peels steeped in a base of 51% Cognac for several weeks, plus sugar. It presents an aromatic beginning with notes of citrus and citrus blossoms, followed by a rich middle with notes of candied orange peel and marmalade, culminating in a long, candied finish.
