This vodka was compared neat against Tito's and Sobieski. Compared to the Sobieski's more antiseptic scent, this vodka's aroma has hints of sweet sugar. Tito's aroma was even less noticeable. The taste has a somewhat chemical overtone, a note of artificial sweetener, and an almost tart conclusion. In contrast, Sobieski offered a smoother, creamier mouthfeel and a more unified, neutral flavor profile. Tito's presents a slightly sharper note that introduces traces of citrus toward the end. My preference order is Sobieski first, followed closely by Tito's. Tito's works exceptionally well in drinks requiring a citrus emphasis, while Sobieski is better suited for spirit-forward cocktails like a vodka martini. Regrettably, I cannot recommend the vodka being reviewed here for anything beyond a sweet mixed drink. I will not be purchasing another bottle. I regret to say, but its price makes it uncompetitive.

I recently mixed up some vodka Collinses using this vodka. I combined fresh lemon juice, a 1:1 simple syrup, topped it with soda water, and garnished with a lemon wheel. The drink itself was well-made, but the taste was awful. I could isolate every ingredient individually, which made me question if the vodka could really have this effect. I kept the entire bottle of vodka in my freezer next to a bottle of Sobieski. That other bottle tastes fine – no musty off-flavors. It had only been opened once before for a tasting. It’s still full to the brim. Nothing else is in my freezer besides ice and some liquor bottles. The cocktails were undrinkable. The remaining vodka in the bottle was poured down the drain. I'm revising my assessment based on this experience. I cannot recommend purchasing this liquor.
