Blue Ice American Potato Vodka

This is another one from my 50ml mini bottle collection. Tasted neat. It's neutral with a light, sweet aroma. The taste includes sweet grain, earthy musty/funky notes, minerality, a creamy texture, and an ethanol burn. The finish is short and sweet, slightly musty, then clean. It's a decent vodka, not outstanding, but significantly better than industrial distillates. Idaho is producing good potato vodka. However... it's still just vodka.

The very first vodka I ever sampled was a potato vodka. This is my definition of what vodka should be. It's fantastic.

It's a bit harsher than some superior vodkas I've encountered, but it remains well above average.

This is the finest potato vodka, particularly when you consider the cost.
