The aroma is sweeter, with woody spice. The palate is oily, with spicy notes and molasses. An earthy, peaty finish that endures. The sherry cask finish softened the peatiness. I had the chance to sample this at a client's bar event. While peaty notes aren't my preference, I found it enjoyable.
