Flintlock Straight Bourbon

It's inexpensive, but not much is happening here. It would be improved at a slightly higher proof. Honestly, it resembles ER, which also doesn't have much going on. So, I had to do a side-by-side comparison. ER was superior, but it cost about double at $40, so I don't think this is as bad as others have rated it. No, this doesn't contend with my $100 to $200 bottles. I would choose this over some well-known branded items costing two to three times as much, just saying.

Boring, thin, has a bit of a chemical taste that a friend described as a crayon flavor. That said, I don’t think it’s that bad and it’s probably better than it’s current 1.8/5 rating. It just doesn’t has much going well for it beyond the name and bottle design.

Not the best, not the worst whiskey, but closer to the bottom than the top. It has a strange sour taste.

This tastes like somebody made vodka then tried to copy bourbon with chemicals.
