A gift from someone who visited Kentucky. The first pour was intense and alcohol-forward. Adding one ice cube significantly softened it. I plan to let the bottle breathe for several weeks before trying it again.

This was a recent purchase for me; it's exclusive to Liquor Barn in Lexington. Significant heat on the palate, with some caramel, fruit, and smoke flavor. It has a lengthy aftertaste.
Initial taste of spice gives way to a sweeter flavor of salted caramel. It has a slight smokiness with a hint of savory. Despite the initial kick, it's a very sweet pour.
The nose was dominated by heavy caramel and oak. Taste was hot/burned initially, but after swirling, it revealed notes of leather and vanilla. The finish was earthy, not hot.
