Marco Bernard 3.5

Appearance: Dark, translucent brown, much like a chocolate shake. Smell: Nutty (hazelnut) and sweet, with notes of caramel and toasted toffee. Evokes the scent of nutty candy. Palate and Mouthfeel: A rich, smooth texture bursting with sweetness, creaminess, and a distinct hazelnut flavor. As the taste develops, caramel becomes more prominent, leaving a sweet finish. The mouthfeel is thick and velvety. A delicious liqueur that's hard to fault, though it enters a competitive market with several excellent nut-flavored spirits. The obvious comparison is Frangelico, which shares a very similar smell and taste profile, though not the texture. The cream and caramel elements here mellow the nuttiness and the alcohol, resulting in a less intense character than Frangelico. For sipping straight or on ice after a meal, this might be the preferred option, but Frangelico offers greater versatility. Highly recommended if you're a fan of cream liqueurs – you won't regret trying it. Availability seems limited to Norway, so you'll need to visit the country to try it. Rating: 83/100 (3.5 stars)
