The aroma has notes of marzipan, honey, cherry, apricot, and rhubarb. It is very rich and thick in the mouth. The palate offers more marzipan, cherry, and apricot, along with marmalade and maple syrup. The finish is of medium length. It's a bit too sweet for easy sipping on its own, but I prefer it to Disaronno. Score: 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat)
This expression leans heavily into burnt sugar notes when contrasted with Disaronno. Consequently, some of my acquaintances favor it over Disaronno. However, I personally believe Disaronno offers a superior balance for enjoying straight. It's a reasonable purchase if you're fond of amaretto.
It's primarily just a sweet flavor with almond extract, followed by a slightly bitter finish. It's like the liqueur version of a cheap strip club's lap dance.
Unimpressive. Not as good as Disaronno. No reason to purchase. Aim higher.
