Fisher's single malt whiskey

I genuinely wanted to appreciate my local single malt. This whiskey had a youthful character and lacked the depth of flavor I seek in a single malt. It presents with vanilla and citrus on the nose. The palate has herbal, almost medicinal, honey notes. I liked it, but it didn't wow me.

I enjoy it, but it feels like it's missing something. Perhaps it would be better at a higher proof.

Scent: Golden Raisins, Ethanol Taste: Hay, Sweet Finish: Medium
