Nose: Honey, vanilla, sweet, summer fruit. Palate: Smoky, toasted, floral, dark fruit, gristy. Apple/grape juice. Slight bitterness, dill pickle, black pepper. Finish: Short finish. Apple juice on the brief finish. This is a decent rye whiskey. Not as harsh as many ryes. Sweet, but tasty and straightforward. Easy drinking, but the short finish makes it a little forgettable.

While a bit richer and sweeter than anticipated for a rye, it's still delightful. Spice emerges in the middle of the palate and intensifies through the finish, which holds up well for a 90 proof spirit.
Unremarkable. I wouldn't suggest drinking it as there's nothing that sets it apart from a cheaper option.
