This is very much a mellowed version of the 14-year-old. The oranges and citrus have evolved into candied fruits and dried fruits, giving it a Christmas cake character. The finish is somewhat long, with notes of cherries and poached plums. A lovely whiskey.

The aroma has mellow tropical fruits. Notes of Christmas cake spice and a slight marzipan finish. Truly delightful.
