Drunk straight. My first rye, so it's difficult to say much, but it had a pleasantly short finish which aided my adaptation to its rye character. It's quite good, but perhaps not my preferred type of whiskey overall.
Considering its maturation period of under two years, this rye was surprisingly enjoyable. The Sauternes cask imparted a pleasant finish.
