Ezra Brooks Blended (white label). Unaged and 80 proof. Distilled/aged in Kentucky, bottled in Missouri. Matured in new charred white oak and charcoal filtered/mellowed. The bottle doesn't list grain neutral spirits, so I'm assuming none are included in this blend. The aroma is very subtle; I detect a hint of maple syrup/sweetness along with some barrel notes. Taste: slightly astringent, with mild charred oak notes, light-bodied and not very flavorful. It starts moderately sweet, but the flavor evolves to become sweeter over time. Price: $13.99+tax for a 1-liter bottle. Rating: C to C+
