Evan Williams American Hero Edition is an annual offering from Heaven Hill that honors military veterans for their service. Each limited edition bottle features the selected veteran's image, name, military rank, and significant achievements. The bourbon contained within the bottle is Evan Williams Black Label Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

Prominent cherry and vanilla notes, with a touch of white pepper. I had high hopes for this, but it's less complex than the standard version and has a harsher ethanol presence. This is the 2023 bottling. I'll use it for cocktails.
Pleasant pour. Starts sweet, finishes with spice. Cinnamon and white pepper notes. Smoothly proportioned. A fine bourbon supporting a worthy cause. Worth the cash. I will continue purchasing. The cost is for a 1.5 liter bottle.
