Incredible on the nose. The palate was a little weak, in my opinion. Not worth the $160 I would've paid in Rhode Island, but thankfully I only paid $35 in Antigua. Among the finest $35 rums I've ever experienced. I'd happily pay up to $60 for a bottle.

About this bottle
English Harbour Reserve 10 Year Old is a blend comprising rums with a minimum age of ten years, extending up to 25 years. English Harbour employs a five-column continuous still for its distillation, one of only two copper continuous stills found in the Caribbean. This rum matures in used bourbon and Tennessee whiskey barrels, with the addition of a few oak chips to intensify the oak-rum interaction.

I purchased this at the distillery in Antigua. I could not determine if the oak barrels had been previously used by beer brewers. Given that they stated bourbon and Tennessee casks, I would assume not, since bourbon requires virgin casks.
An exceptional sipping rum from Antigua. Best enjoyed neat, with ice, or a little water only. Fruits, caramel, and a touch of oak make this a delight. Savor it.
Wonderfully balanced. A perfect blended rum. It has sugar notes on the nose and palate, with just enough warmth to comfort the mouth like a gentle hug.
Very nice. The aroma has lots of baking spices, including allspice, cinnamon, tons of vanilla, and tobacco notes in the flavor.
