The nose is very pungent right at the start, full of ethanol. Eventually, creamier notes of vanilla, charred oak, buttered popcorn, and hints of floral rye and molasses emerge. The taste ignites the mouth with a rush of ethanol and sharp baking spices, staying mostly at the front of the mouth. It dries your mouth as you chew it while vanilla and charred oak mingle in the background of the relentless spice. The finish is lengthy, but mostly because the burn doesn't subside. This is quite unbalanced and needs to be toned down to be truly enjoyed.
