Fantastic price ($36 in Texas) for a smooth drink. Aromas of mellow caramel, fruity tropical notes, gentle oak, and a hint of anise. The taste is delightful, featuring sweet, ripe peaches, honeycomb, luscious mango with a slight tang, and mild vanilla oak that balances the mid-palate. The finish is exceptionally smooth and sweet, with ripe apricot and a dash of fresh cinnamon. The lingering aftertaste is subtly sweet and light, with a touch of anise. Enjoyable at room temperature (75-80 F) without any additions.

A molasses-based Rum from Guatemala, aged in the Caribbean's tropical environment to impart optimal oak character. It begins with hints of vanilla and caramel, evolving on the palate to include cinnamon, cocoa, and fruit, culminating in a zesty conclusion. October 2017 / February 2020 / July 2024 / July 2025
Nice gutamalen rum, velvety texture and a wonderful nose. Light sweet flavor, rich and oaky finish; you definitely want to drink it straight; water or ice diminishes the flavor; just drink it at room temperature.
Sweet, round, and rich molasses rum. Flavors of vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon. Nice mouthfeel. Easygoing and quite smooth, very crowd-pleasing.
A very decent Guatemalan rum, leaning towards the sweeter side, perhaps excessively so. It's easy to drink and possesses moderate complexity.
Reasonably smooth, reasonably spicy. I would choose a Plantation 20th over this one for the price.
