A hint of cedar quickly gives way to a round, honeyed body, with a wine-like note of red grape emerging mid-sip. The texture is again generous, but it also has a bourbon-like character from the start, leading me to doubt it's 100% port aging. Nonetheless, it's another very fine whisky from Edradour, even featuring some floral notes with saffron undertones.
