Edradour 21yo Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish

An amazing dram from "Scottish little gem". Edradour has shown me they produce perfect whiskies, clearly benefiting from their marvelous sherry casks. This expression is their 21yo, finished in Oloroso Sherry. Bottled at 56.2%, it presents a stunning deep copper hue. The nose is flawless, offering coffee, orange caramel, brown sugar, cherries, and aged, thick sherry wine. Rich caramel notes are present, and allowing it to breathe reveals a chocolate aroma. Vanilla with dulce de leche. Fantastic. The palate is INCREDIBLE!! Vanilla, sherry, cherries, dried fruits, chocolate, milk powder. All at once. 25 points plus an extra point for being so exceptional. The finish is also perfect, with a dry sensation from the oloroso sherry, tobacco, milk powder, and Milka chocolate. This might be my whisky of the year. It will definitely be in my top 3. My score is 101 out of 100. It's THAT good. Purchase it. Cheers.
