About this bottle
Following the 2010 release of The London No 1 Gin, former London Gin Company owner Martin Edgarton Gill developed his own pink gin to commemorate his father's service in the Royal Navy. Pink gin originated in the 1800s as a remedy for seasickness, combining gin with Angostura bitters, and became a popular bar drink globally by the century's end. Introduced in 2011, Edgerton Original Pink Gin is crafted with numerous botanicals, including juniper berries, orris powder, grains of paradise, sweet orange peel, savory, damiana, cassia bark, nutmeg, coriander seed, licorice root, almond powder, cinnamon, lemon peel, angelica root, and pomegranate, which imparts its pink hue. The resulting gin is bottled at 47% ABV.
