Loraine Singer 4.3

The color is a deep reddish-amber that clings to the glass, taking a moment before starting to trickle down the sides. The aroma begins with cherry cola, oak, sawdust, leather, cooked brown sugar, and caramel. The palate softly fills the mouth with a perfect blend of the aromas, all converging in a single wave of flavor. No single element dominates, but cinnamon and a hint of pepper emerge at the end. The finish is long and oaky, with the palate fading and leaving the cinnamon and pepper to combine with the oak, persisting for a long time. It's certainly distinct from other bottlings from the early 1980s.

Jasmine Shepard 3.8

This bourbon is pleasant and leaves a mild tingle at the finish, which isn't bothersome.
